1. Overview and scope
Dock is a service provided by Stratus Aviation, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our website, request information or a demo, submit a referral, or use Dock.
Organizations using Dock decide what repair and business information their users submit. Questions about an organization's own practices should be directed to that organization. A customer or data-processing agreement may also govern Dock's processing of that organization's information.
Information may be processed in locations where Dock and its service providers operate, subject to applicable agreements and law. Privacy protections can differ by location.
2. Website inquiries and referrals
We collect information you provide when requesting a demo, making a referral, or contacting us, such as your name, work email, shop or company, role, message, and correspondence. Share another person's personal information only with permission.
We may also collect request information, such as IP address, browser and device details, and referring pages, to operate the website, respond to inquiries, and address abuse.
3. Information collected through the service
Account and team information includes names, email addresses, profile photos, organizations, roles, invitations, and authentication records.
Repair information includes invoices, work orders, vehicle and driver details, notes, attachments, status, and provider responses from shops, uploaded documents, and connected fleet or repair portals. It may concern drivers or vehicle owners without Dock accounts. We process it on the organization's behalf for its requested workflows.
Connection information includes usernames, access credentials, sessions, and connection health for services linked at an organization's direction.
Billing information includes subscription status, transactions, invoices, and payment-provider identifiers. Payment details entered in our payment processor's checkout or billing portal are handled by that processor.
4. Analytics, cookies, and session diagnostics
We use analytics tools, including PostHog and Google Analytics, to understand how our website and services are used, improve functionality, and provide a smoother, more reliable experience. These tools help us identify areas for improvement, evaluate features, and investigate technical or usability issues.
We may use cookies, browser storage, session replay, and similar technologies for these purposes. Information collected may include pages viewed, interactions, browser and device details, session identifiers, and, where enabled, page content. Dock and the providers supporting these tools process this information to help us troubleshoot problems and improve the experience.
5. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange demonstrations, administer referrals, provide and secure Dock, support users, organize repair information, and carry out user-directed submissions. We also use it to show shared work to authorized teammates, process billing, and send service, security, and support communications.
We use information to understand usage, monitor reliability, diagnose problems, improve workflows, comply with law, and protect users, Dock, and others.
AI providers process submitted documents, repair details, or provider notes for extraction, matching, and workflow assistance. Retention may support operation, abuse monitoring, or legal duties; model-training uses depend on provider terms and account settings. Contact support@dock.inc about relevant providers and required restrictions before submitting affected information.
We may evaluate and improve Dock with aggregated or de-identified usage and performance information that identifies neither an organization nor an individual. Separately agreed data-use restrictions continue to apply.
6. How information is disclosed
We disclose information to authorized teammates within the same organization, connected providers at a user's direction, and service providers supporting hosting, data and file storage, artificial-intelligence processing, analytics, diagnostics, billing, and email delivery. These providers process information for the services they provide.
We may also disclose information in a business transaction, to comply with law, or to protect rights and safety. A connected provider's processing is governed by its applicable terms, privacy practices, and agreements with your organization.
Dock does not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain account and repair records for service, customer instructions, support, and disputes; billing records for accounting, tax, and legal duties; and security or diagnostic records for reliability and abuse investigations. Retention criteria include account activity, contractual and legal obligations, sensitivity, and the collection purpose.
Cancellation does not automatically delete records or portal access. Disconnect supported connections or contact support@dock.inc to request removal of stored access and other retained information. We may verify authority and coordinate with the organization controlling the records. Copies may remain in backups until expiry or for legal, accounting, security, or dispute obligations.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
Users can update certain account and notification settings in Dock. Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies or restrict storage. These choices may affect functionality and do not necessarily stop every type of information collection.
If you receive marketing email from Dock, use any opt-out instructions provided in the message or contact support@dock.inc to ask us to stop. We may still send account, billing, security, and other service messages.
Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to know about, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to processing or appeal a decision. Contact your Dock representative or support@dock.inc to make a request. We may verify your identity or direct requests about Customer Data to the organization that controls it. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
10. Children
Dock is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as Dock changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required. Direct questions or privacy requests to your Dock representative or support@dock.inc. Our Terms of Service govern use of Dock.
